My favorite candle and favorite fragrance lovely light

A bit disappointing

I was really excited for this candle as I love yuzu. It smells strong and bright unlit, but while it burns smells completely different. The smell is weak and reminiscent of the plastic-y scent that cheap candles throw. I find it nauseating to have lit for long. This is disappointing because I really like this brand—other candles from Brooklyn are some of my favorite candles I’ve ever had and have purchased multiples of (Kyoto, sea salt + surf).

Not so much throw

The candle smelled great up close, but I like to walk into a room and be able to catch a whiff of it, and that did not happen. It was worth trying, but I'll be going back to my old standards.

they got me with Love Potion

And then I fell in love with Japanese Citrus as well. It's bright, uplifting and feels like Spring in a glass container. Really love every scent I have tried from Brooklyn Candle.
