Our 2025 Giving Tuesday Mission: Supporting Brooklyn Communities
Giving Tuesday is one of our favorite days of the year, a moment when our community comes together to uplift and support those doing meaningful work in our own backyard. This year, on top of the 30% off Cyber Monday Sale, Brooklyn Candle Studio is proud to donate 10% of sales to two incredible local organizations: The Center for Family Life in Sunset Park and the Women’s Empowerment Coalition of NYC (WECNYC). Both organizations make a powerful difference in the lives of families, children, and immigrant women across South Brooklyn, and we are honored to support their missions.
Center for Family Life in Sunset Park
The Center for Family Life in Sunset Park is dedicated to promoting positive outcomes for both children and adults in the Sunset Park community. Their work includes a comprehensive range of neighborhood-based family and social services, from youth development programs to employment support, counseling, and food assistance. Women’s Empowerment Coalition of NYC (WECNYC)
The Women’s Empowerment Coalition of NYC focuses on uplifting immigrant women from marginalized backgrounds in South Brooklyn. Their programs center on education, leadership development, solidarity networks, and community support, all with the goal of helping women advocate for themselves and create long-term opportunities for their families.
