Production Assistant
We are seeking a few Production Assistants to join our team of 20. We are looking for individuals who are available Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, beginning ASAP.
Compensation: $16.00 with benefits

We are looking for individuals who are punctual, attentive to small details, able to perform repetitive tasks at an acceptable pace while maintaining quality. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work and are excited to contribute to our small business. We experience a high volume of orders, so individuals should understand when and how to pick up the pace of their work, be able to stand on their feet for 8 hours per day, potentially lift 50 lb multiple times throughout the day, work with their hands, and enjoy listening to the wide array of music and podcasts we play while working. If you enjoy getting things done with a small and reliable group of people, this could be a great job for you! All candles are designed, produced, and shipped out of our studio space in Industry City, a bustling hub of creatives and makers with plenty of campus-related perks (like events, a gym, foodcourt, etc.). Production responsibilities may include:
-Loading wax melters with up to 250 lbs of wax daily
-Hand pouring candles
-Making and packaging room sprays and reed diffusers
-Wicking jars in preparation for pouring process
-Labeling and cleaning of candles with aesthetic care
-Keeping stock organized and easily accessible for shipping
-Receiving freight shipments of supplies from our building's loading dock
-Must be able to stand on your feet for 7-8 hours a day
-This job will require lifting of 50+ lbs
-Assist with packing and shipping, as needed
